Setting Mount Image Pro in the Windows PATH
Setting the PATH environment variable will simplify your command line use of Mount Image Pro. Setting the PATH variable means that you can execute 'MIP' commands from the command line within any DOS folder.
To set the PATH variable, follow these steps:
- Open Control Panel
- Go to System / Advanced / Environment Variables
- In System Variables double click on "Path"
- Add to the current path the location of Mount Image Pro. For example C:\Program Files\GetData\Mount Image Pro v2.
IMPORTANT: You must append the path to the location of Mount Image Pro to the existing PATH variable. Include a ";" to separate the PATH from the previous variable (without any spaces).

To test the PATH settings, open a DOS window and type PATH. You should see MIP listed in the path.
You should now be able to type MIP DOS commands from any DOS folder. To test this, open a DOS window and type MIP. You should see the following:
Now from the any folder location on the command prompt you should be able to type and execute MIP DOS commands.
