1 July 2008 - Message to Customers re. Program Updates

In July 2008 GetData changed the Mount Image Pro update 'Subscription' model to a 'Version Number' model. As of 1 July 2008:

• all updates within a major version are free;
• an upgrade cost applies for the next major version, e.g. when going from Version 2 to Version 3.

On 1 July 2008, Version 2.60 was released on this website. Version 2.60 removes the subscription method from the update menu. All future updates Version 2 will be free to all users.

If you receive an 'Update Subscription Expired' message when you click on the UPDATE button within the program - download the update directly from this website and install it over your existing version.

In late 2008 GetData will release Mount Image Pro Version 3. This version will have a new mounting engine and include additional features. In order to honor our commitment to customers of "12 months updates and support", any customer who has purchased MIP v2 in the 12 months prior to the release date of MIP v3 will automatically receive a free upgrade to MIP v3. Customers who purchased MIP v2 more than 12 months prior to the MIP v3 release date will be given the opportunity to upgrade from Version 2 to Version 3 at a discounted price.
