How to Activate Mount Image Pro
Mount Image Pro can be activated either by:
- a software activation key (learn more here);
- a USB activation dongle (instructions below).
Activating Mount Image Pro with a Dongle
Mount Image Pro can be activated with a USB dongle. Note, you must have purchased a license of Mount Image Pro before you can purchase a dongle.
To use your MIP dongle:
- Ensure your dongle is inserted in the USB port before running Mount Image Pro;
- Ensure that the dongle is recognized by your PC (see driver information below);
- Run Mount Image Pro. The program should open in an activated state and you should be able to mount image files.
Dongle Driver Information
Two types of USB dongles have been used to activate Mount Image Pro:
Aladdin Hasp Dongle
The MIP Hasp Dongle does not normally need a USB driver to be installed. However, if you have problems with your system recognizing that the dongle is attached, we suggest you download and install the Hasp Dongle driver from the following website: http://www.aladdin.com/support/hasp/hasp4/enduser.aspx
Rockey Dongle
No Driver Needed - ROCKEY2 uses driver native to Windows and Linux. The operating system will prompt you for installing the new device (ROCKEY2 support USB port only and for Win98SE, it will require the Window installation CD).
