Activating Mount Image Pro

The trial version available for download from www.mountimage.com is fully functional for a period of 14 days. After 14 days from initial installation Mount Image Pro will no longer mount images, however all other functions will work as normal.

A single license of Mount Image Pro can be used to activate the software on two computer systems owned by the purchaser, e.g. a desktop and a laptop computer.

A Mount Image Pro activation key is "hardware locked" to a computer onto which it is installed. Each time the license is used on a new computer (with a different hardware ID) it counts as an additional activation. When the number of available activations is used, the "Max Activations Reached" message is displayed. This is an anti-piracy measure designed to stop a license of the software being unlawfully activated on multiple computers.

If computers on which Mount Image Pro are installed are replaced, please contact support@getdata.com to request additional activations.

Should you require more flexibility with your Mount Image Pro license we suggest your purchase a USB hardware activation dongle which can be used to transport the license from computer to computer. Learn more about USB hardware activation dongles here.

To purchase a product activation key visit www.mountimage.com and click on the 'Purchase" links. Or, click on the 'Buy Online' buttons within the program.

Credit card purchase is via our secure server (other purchase options are available and are detailed on our web site). A product activation key is provided to you on a web page at the end of the purchase process (if there is a delay by your credit card provider processing the transaction the registration key will be sent to you by electronic mail only, as soon as the transaction completes).

Please ensure that your email settings, i.e. spam filters, do not prevent email delivery of your product activation details. If you have any problems receiving your key please contact us.

Accessing the program activation screen

The product activation screen is accessed by clicking on "Help" in the top most menu (not the help button) and then "Activate Product";

Product Activation

There are two activation options:

1. Activate Online

Where the computer on which the software is being installed is connected to the Internet;

2. Activate Manually

Where the computer on which the software is being installed is not connected to the Internet, another Internet connected computer can be used to collect the necessary information to activate.

In the product activation window (shown above) click on the link to "activate offline manually", then follow the instructions on the screen below:

Use the Internet connected computer to visit the activation web page https://secure.getdata.com/key/key-activation-offline.php ;
Enter into the web page;

  a). The email address used in your purchase;

  b). Your license key; and,

  c). The installation ID from the program activation window.
The Web page will then return a "Registration Name" and an "Activation Code". Enter this information into the product activation window and click next.
